The Nissan X-Trail is a crossover with the capability of a 4x4 combined with the adaptability of an SUV.
Designed for explorers, the X-Trail is a stylish new SUV that can take you to places others can’t. The addition of a sporty new grille and front bumper provide a look that, in a world of curvaceous off-roaders, is underappreciated. Design points such as bigger, robust wheels make the X-Trail unashamedly rugged. The interior is in contrast to the exterior and offers a touch of premium, a high design and a build quality that lets you know that, just because its uncomfortable outside, you can still be comfortable on the inside. The high seating position gives you a commanding all-round view, making all but the most difficult manoeuvres a breeze. The boot is ample and can be altered to suit any load, with a maximum capacity of 1,773 litres to ensure all your needs can be met.
The 2.0-litre engines available in the X-Trail produce an amazing amount of power and are more than a match for any rugged terrain, as well as being able to get the X-trail from 0-62mph in a very respectable 10.0 seconds.
The advanced turbo is always there, should you need a little extra power in a tight spot or when you need some quick acceleration. The 171bhp engine is surprisingly economical when compared to others of similar size, and produces 15 percent less CO2 than its predecessor without compromising on performance. This all makes the X-Trail a joy to drive, whether you’re on the motorway, on your way to work, or on the side of a mountain.
The X-trail contains all the modern technology you might expect of an SUV and a few options you might not. Audio with Bluetooth comes as standard, as do seats with lumbar support and Climate Control air conditioning. Extras include Nissan’s innovative Around View Monitor 360-degree bird’s-eye-view parking assist, taking the stress out of parking in even the worst spots. Safety features are ample on the X-Trail and aim to keep you safe in regular conditions (ISOFIX child seat points, curtain airbags, Electronic Stability Programme) as well as irregular ones (Uphill Start Support, Downhill Drive Support, All Mode 4x4).
